![]() View Video | 16-bit ALU in minecraft Description: This is the first part of a planned 16-bit computer that will run entirely in minecraft. That computer will be "Hack" compatible, which is to say that it'll run code meant for the Hack machine described in The Elements of Computing Systems (a fantastic book that you should look up if you are at all interested in how computers work. Its website is www.idc.ac.il ). ![]() View Video | How to Build a Computer - 2012 Version! Description: If you have any questions about the parts used or are looking for build advice, please see this video before posting your question here: www.youtube.com As requested, a new computer build for 2012. A step-by-step walk-through of how to build a computer using components available in February, 2012. This machine was built for a customer that wanted a FAST computer, NOT a gaming computer. However, if you add a video card (or two with the SLI cable included with the motherboard, this would be one heck of a gaming PC). The customer wants to use two monitors at the same time and this motherboards built-in video controller (as well the HD video in the Intel CPU) allows for one monitor to be plugged into the motherboards VGA port, and the other monitor to be plugged into the motherboards DVI port. This video was completely edited, rendered and then posted to YouTube using the computer built in this video. It was edited and rendered using Cyberlink's PowerDirector 9 64-bit on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Filming required two days. Editing required 3 days. Rendering required 3.5 hours, uploading was 6 hours and YouTube processing was 5 hours.
